Tatjana Kozar

Born in Fria (Guinea) in 1981, Tatjana Kozar passes the majority of her childhood and schooltime between Serbia and France. In 2005, she creates the association [YU]film in Brussels with which she organizes a series of projections of films from former Yugoslavian peninsula and other cultural events. In 2007, she graduates from the performing art section at the ULB-University in Brussels. After her studies, she starts to concentrate on film production with a 3-month training period at the Liège-based production company VERSUS PRODU CTIONS, the film industry being her favored environment. She continues to promote the cinema from the Balkan countries as programmer, expert and critic for different festivals and organizations. In the spring of 2008, she becomes production manager and 1st assistant to the director on SAVAGE FILM produced documentary LOST IN TRANSITION. After this four month experience, she is hired fulltime by Savage Productions/Savage Film as line producer and assistant head of development.
